HR Job - HR Manager
Job Reference: HRM2507
Are you an HR leader who thinks progressively? A high-growth manufacturing and engineering business is looking for an exceptional HR Manager to assume full responsibility for their Irish people function. Following a period of significant expansion, this role is designed for a leader who wants to drive strategic change, manage an autonomous HR function, and act as the primary advisor to the leadership team.
The Opportunity
Lead with Autonomy: Take full ownership of the HR function in a standalone entity, with the freedom to define "how" to achieve strategic "what" outcomes.
Strategic Impact: Own the delivery of the local people strategy, from design through to implementation, ensuring initiatives are commercial and measurable.
Scale the Business: Help sustain a trajectory of rapid growth within a manufacturing environment that has doubled in headcount over the last 2.5 years.
Team Leadership: Manage and develop an expanding HR team, ensuring effective project delegation and change management.
Organisational Design: Drive structural and workflow improvements, including workforce planning, role clarity, and organisational capability building.
Lead Transformation: Execute a positive HR transformation roadmap, including L&D framework development, engagement programmes, and HRIS integration.
Influence Leadership: Partner directly with a high-performing Executive Leadership Team that is receptive to advice and eager for expert guidance.
Build Capability: Implement leadership development and coaching for the management layer to reduce dependency on HR for routine people issues.
Deliver End-to-End: Manage strategic HR projects from scoping to completion without the need for constant oversight.
Broad Scope: Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, including recruitment, compensation practice, succession planning, and performance management.
Candidate Requirements
Senior HR leadership experience within manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or a similarly operational environment.
Strategic Delivery: Proven track record of delivering end-to-end strategic HR programmes in a lean or growing organisational structure.
Operational Authority: Experience acting as the primary HR authority, partnering effectively with Executive and Senior Leadership Teams.
Legislative Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Irish employment legislation with the ability to advise leadership on complex matters and risk.
Commercial Mindset: Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of solving problems by focusing on business outcomes rather than just HR processes.
Change Management: Demonstrated ability to lead organisational change (restructures, cultural interventions) with a pragmatic and steady approach.
