This is a great opportunity for a HR generalist to gain full exposure to the employee life cycle in a complex and fast paced unionised environment. You will be supported by a highly experienced team who will mentor and develop talent and who role model best practice.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

✔️Key point of contact for Recruitment & Onboarding activities

✔️Support the senior HRBPs with various employee programmes

✔️Employee engagement, 1st point of contact for queries and advice

✔️HRIS management and ability to manage data in a regulated environment

✔️Develop an understanding of workforce planning and requirements

✔️Key administrator overseeing employee record keeping and reporting ensuring data integrity

✔️Administration of rewards, sick pay, maternity leave and employee benefits schemes

✔️Liaise with finance and payroll and complete necessary checks and reports

✔️Support case management and ER issues with note taking and reporting

✔️Provide 1st line support through the full employee life cycle

✔️Collaborate with the wider HR team and support colleagues where required

✔️Support learning and development activities

Key Candidate Requirements:

✔️Degree level HR  or related Business Degree with CIPD

✔️3 years experience in a related HR role

✔️Ability to flex and support where required with an openness to personal development

✔️High level of awareness and approaches HR with a service mindset

✔️Excellent understanding of HR operations and processes

✔️HR data reporting and HRIS proficiency

✔️Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities

✔️Excellent track record of record maintenance and tracking metrics

✔️Experience working in a unionised environment preferred

✔️Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

✔️A team player with an openness to feedback and willingness to learn and develop
