An opportunity exists for an experienced HR professional to lead HR services across a growing, multi-site organisation. This senior role will shape HR strategy and operational delivery, promoting a people-centred culture and ensuring consistent, compliant HR practice across all centres.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️Lead and develop the HR team through clear objectives, regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and individual development planning.
✔️Manage full-cycle HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, probation reviews, staff records, and offboarding.
✔️Oversee employee relations casework, performance management processes, disciplinary and grievance matters, absence management and welfare support.
✔️Work closely with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate pay-related data, contract changes and strong documentation standards.
✔️Design and maintain HR systems and processes, including optimising HRIS workflows and ensuring data integrity across functions.
✔️Develop and deliver colleague engagement activity such as wellbeing initiatives and communication plans; use survey and exit data to identify improvements.
✔️Provide expert advice and act as escalation point for moderate to high-risk HR issues; coach managers to resolve complex people matters.
✔️ Contribute HR input to cross-functional projects, committee work and budget planning; produce regular, accurate HR reporting for directors.
Key Duties:
✔️Oversee recruitment and selection activity year-round, including peak seasonal campaigns.
✔️Maintain compliant personnel files and manage vetting and other statutory checks.
✔️Ensure consistent delivery of induction, probation and supervision processes across all sites.
✔️Review and strengthen HR-related training provision; identify development priorities.
✔️Monitor leave and absence trends and recommend interventions to improve engagement and retention.
✔️Manage safety-related HR processes including support for risk assessments.
✔️Review and update policies and staff handbooks to reflect current employment law and best practice.
