Our client is a fast-growing social enterprise who have a requirement for a dedicated HR leader with a strong track record in designing strategic people plans and organisational frameworks to enable an inclusive and high performing culture.

This role will sit on the leadership team, and you will have responsibility for developing and implementing strategic people initiatives that align with the progressive goals of the organisation.

The Head of HR and OD will lead the HR function across multiple locations, managing a HR team and developing the people services. You will be responsible for providing guidance on compliance, employment law, talent management, and organisational effectiveness as well as the oversight of the full employee life cycle.


Key Responsibilities

✔️Talent Management – Recruitment, onboarding, retention, succession planning and talent development.

✔️Strategic Leadership – Organisational design, workforce planning, organisational frameworks and culture development.

✔️Employee Engagement – Developing a highly engaged and responsive employee workforce and managing the HR communication channels across regions.

✔️Compensation & Reward- Implement and manage (through collaboration with the finance team) financially sustainable C&B strategies which align with industry benchmarks and remain competitive.

✔️Learning & Development – Leadership coaching and development, learning pathways and career development.

✔️Employment Law- Compliance, policy, advice and guidance in changing legal and regulatory environments.

✔️Workforce planning – Forecasting, assessing capacity and future talent needs. Restructuring and market mapping.

✔️HRIS and Reporting – Developing effective reporting tools and using data and analytics to inform decision making and provide MI & BI.

✔️Risk Management- Identify and mitigate any HR related risks to the business.

✔️Culture – Championing the values and vision of the organisation through proactive and genuine role modelling of behaviours, aligned to the organisations best practice codes.

✔️Performance & Reward – Oversee a culture of high performance through the implementation of standard frameworks and consistent review and feedback mechanisms to ensure fair reward.

Candidate Requirements:

✔️A degree in HR or a related field minimum, and postgraduate /CIPD is desirable 

✔️8 years professional HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

✔️Some UK and / International exposure is a plus, with In-depth knowledge of Irish and UK employment law desirable.

✔️Excellent track record of strategic HR leadership and organisation design, workforce planning and talent management. 

✔️Coaching and leadership skills, with the ability to develop a team.

✔️Strong analytical capabilities, with the understanding of HR systems and analytical tools. 

✔️Flexibility to travel within Ireland, UK or internationally as required
